Hi, here at Markham's we have been running our charter boats for over 40 years. My father Rod Markham is a very respected skipper with a huge knowledge of the local area having fished it all his life. He likes nothing more than seeing people catching fish as does my skipper Graham "Birdseye" Beckett. He also has a vast knowledge and has worked with us for many years.

Both Rod and Graham are very keen anglers. (Graham's background stems from working on commercial fishing boats all over the UK and Europe).

Our boats Tracy Jane and Flirt are licensed and insured for 8 persons each and are coded by Mecal to 20 miles from any safe haven. The boats are moored on the beautiful River Deben at Felixstowe Ferry.

A typical day would mean leaving at 7.45am and returning approx 4.30/5.00pm. If you fancy a trip you can book the whole boat or we also have individual days.

No Tackle? – No problem. We have loads of hire gear. Bait is no problem either, we can supply this and have it on the boat for you when you arrive, or you might like to call in to the shop on your journey to Felixstowe Ferry and collect it and any tackle you may need from our huge range of accessories in the the shop.
