Just thought you would like to see the tench I caught at your lake.
I was on the third peg in from the gate and fishing at 10 meters with the pole.
I fed four pole cups of small pellets with sweetcorn and then used a chunk of catmeat on the hook.
This tench grabbed the meat as soon as it touched down.
It shot off putting a bend I had never seen in My pole before and the 16 elastic was working hard.
The fight was hard and fast but I soon got the best of him and he was in the net.

129 viewsThe lake has become my venue of choice when planning a day’s fishing. Had some fantastic Tench, Bream Crucian and Roach. I took my 8yr old son Ben for his first fishing trip. Thanks to the dedication of you and your team in providing an excellent little fishery my little man is now completely hooked. I regularly pop into the pit just to check it out, I like the magic of the place and its surroundings. Now if only I can keep my son from talking about his first fishing trip.
